Starting out in my career as a teacher of FE, Equality and Diversity has always played an integral role in my ethos and values. Being a Justice of the Peace, allowed me to develop this further as it enabled me to ensure that everyone who came into the justice system in Teesside is treated fairly. Working with Media Cultured has given me the opportunity to engage in workshops which tackle the challenges around Equality and Diversity head on and allow me to continue to deliver these values deeper into the core parts of the community where change can occur to ensure a fairer system to all in every aspect of life.

My roles as a trustee and a trainer have equipped me with the insight and skills needed to help to ensure equality and diversity is always placed at the heart of education where it should always be.
